ATV Club Meeting & Club Ride August 9th – 8 am

Hi CIRR Members,

Our Club meeting is this Saturday, August 9th.  We are meeting at 8 am, Ironton Legion, 232 4th Street.  We are starting early, since we are attending the “Riding with Rory Suicide Awareness/Prevention ride” in Emily as our Club Ride.  (They do a dart toss like our Brandon Ride.)  The meeting will be shortened to get us all up to Emily in time.

Note: Please don’t park trucks and trailers in front of the Legion or the Mac Daddy’s Donut Shop.

Agenda will be provided at the meeting. Please note there is an Enduro Motorcycle Event next weekend at the Stompin Grounds, therefore the East side of the highway of the Akeley Trails will be closed.  The Akeley area will be busy, the trails on the West side of the highway will be open, you are welcome to go there, but the Club decided to attend the “Riding with Rory Suicide Awareness/Prevention Ride”.  Any questions on the ride change, you can contact Andy.

Club Ride on July 12th (No Club Meeting)

Our next Club ride will be at Nemadji on July 12th at 10 am. There will be no Club meeting this month. A group of members will be boondock camping at Nemadji. There will be a group leaving the Legion in Ironton at 8 am. There is Nemadji State Forest parking outside the town of Duquette on Erickson Road.
We will go on the same route as last year. Please click on the ride command route, for the Nemadji Trails https://bnc.lt/RFZm/i71EnUydNUb Before Saturday preload your map or Ride Command, because cell service is not great at Nemadji. We will be using “CIRR Shirt” as our group ride on Ride Command. Dan will lead the ride.
Dan called the North Pine Saloon in Kerrick and they are happy to accommodate us.
If you have any questions, call Andy at 612-669-6317

4th of July Parade

There will be a pancake breakfast at the Legion, benefiting the Ironton Fire Department Auxiliary.  Decorate your machine in red, white and blue.  Wear your CIRR shirts & hats.  We will have candy to pass out.  No throwing candy from moving vehicles per Crosby Fire Department’s request.  The parade starts at 11 am near the Ironton American Legion.  If you plan to be in the parade with your machine, please be there by 10:30 am to meet up with our group.  The parade starts at the Legion & ends at the block before CRMC.  We find out our lineup number the day of the parade.

Everyone is welcome to park at Dave & Mary Wille’s and ride your machine over to the start of the parade.
